Core purpose of the role:
Leads improvement by setting direction, managing risks, transferring knowledge, coaching and mentoring Lean Sigma across the P&L (network & 3rd parties).
Key responsibilities are expected to include:
• Translation of P&L requirements into programmes of improvement work. Scoping, shaping and resourcing of these programmes.
• Delivery of these programmes through application of Continuous Improvement principles and effective management of Black and Green Belts.
• Stakeholder management within and outside of aligned function.
• Ensure process owner and colleague involvement from the start of programme.
Key skills and knowledge sought:
• Systems Thinking, Lean Master or Master Black Belt practitioner highly desirable.
• Strong project and programme management skills, coupled with an ability to sell the ‘bigger picture’ to 3rd party suppliers and internal parties.
• Inter personal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organisation.
• Proven ability to lead relevant colleagues in the pragmatic application of Continuous Improvement.
