An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Claims Insight Manager to lead a newly developed team of claims analysts specialising in claims performance within household and creditor products.

This role will play a pivotal part in understanding how LBG claims performance compares to the market and to their own plans in terms of claims costs and the impact on P&L. You will identify opportunities for improved performance and help shape claims strategy for both household and creditor products. Working in partnership with Actuarial, Finance and the business teams, the role holder will provide leadership to a small team of expert GI claims analysts, capable of diagnosing claims performance and understanding how improvements can be achieved using claims 'levers', to increase LBGs existing market leading position in claims.

The successful candidate will be degree educated within a numeric discipline and will have a proven analytical background. Strong analytical skills are essential as will be the financial acumen and commercial mindset to be able to indentify potential opportunities from large volumes of data. The role holder will develop and lead the Claims Insight team and will need to build strong links across the General Insurance business so excellent communication and persuasion skills are essential and the ability to turn recommendations into business results. Experience of Lean/Six Sigma from a data extraction/numercial analysis perspective would be an advantage although is not essential and the role will not involve change management as their is a sperearte change team the findings will be passed on to.
